If you knew you had a thirty-three percent chance of being stalked by a silent killer, you might
throw your hands up in despair. Sadly, this is actually the case with one of the common medical
diseases hurting Americans every day. The good news is that this CHEC Wellness, Dr Kevin Bryant will
be sharing some simple, natural ways you can drastically cut your chances of being part of the
statistic.

The lunch menu will feature Potato Leek Soup and Focaccia Bread from Chef Miguel Larcher. CHEC staff
will be making Kale Salad and Carrot Salad, and watermelom will be served for dessert.

Sherlyn Bryant will be doing a cooking demonstration on Potato Leek Soup using a recipe from Chef
Miguel’s cookbook entitled, Three Olives and a Dash of the Sea. Miguel thinks that the recipe in his
cookbook tastes even better than the Potato Leek Soup he commonly makes at the restaurant.
